Building upon the successes of the 2012 Nexus 7, Google’s new 7-inch slate introduces a Full 1920 x 1200p HD display with a 323ppi image density. This makes it have the highest resolution of any 7-inch tablet, definitely beating its iPad mini Apple rival.
Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, the new Nexus 7 has even got a battery upgrade too, adding an extra hour of life maxing out at an iPad mini rivalling 10 hours.
Nexus 7 features a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 2GB of RAM and the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and 4G connectivity options.
Nexus 7 is the rear camera, which packs 5-megapixels to complement the 1.2-megapixel snapper up front. dual stereo speakers further enhanced by Fraunhofer virtual surround sound technology.
The next-generation Google Nexus 7 will cost £199.99 for the 16GB version, while the 32GB option will cost £239.99, if the PC World pricing is accurate.
