Sunstrike Rage Swift With Android 4.4 KitKat Launched at Rs. 2,999
Sunstrike Telecom India on Monday launched its cheapest Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone, the Rage Swift, at Rs. 2,999. The pricing of the KitKat-based Rage Swift is the same as the Celkon Campus A35K, which is till now the cheapest KitKat phone in the country since its launch in June.
The entry-level Sunstrike Rage Swift offers dual-SIM support and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 3.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) display with a pixel density of 315ppi.
The Rage Swift sports 1.3-megapixel rear camera with flash and a secondary front VGA (0.3-megapixel) facing camera. While Sunstrike hasn't specified many details of the smartphone, such as the processor, system memory (RAM), built-in storage, and more, it says that the Rage Swift will pack a 1600mAh battery. The company will also provide a free Crystal Cover with the smartphone. It will also come with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options.

Samsung Galaxy S5
Samsung Galaxy S5
Quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, which runs at a blistering 2.5GHz. This chip, paired with 2GB of RAM
The phone comes with Android 4.4 KitKat and a new version of Samsung’s TouchWiz interface. There’s no word yet on whether or not a stock Android Google Play or Nexus edition will be be available.
2800mAh battery should give the S5 enough juice to easily last a day (Samsung claims 21 hours of talk time)You also get a choice between 16GB and 32GB of expandable storage (you can add up to 64GB extra via microSD), and there’s a microUSB 3.0 port for quick transfer speeds.
On the connectivity front, there’s both 4G LTE (supporting the speedy Category 4) and fifth generation Wi-Fi 802.11ac and 2X2 MiMo, plus a feature called Download Booster which uses both Wi-Fi and 4G simultaneously to download files
it weighs 145g and measures up at 142 x 72.5 x 8.1mm.
It’ll be available in several colours, including Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue and Copper Gold.
The Galaxy S5's 16MP camera comes with an LED flash, a new advanced HDR mode and post-shot focusing: it takes two images every time you press the shutter, with the focus trained in different spots: one on the subject and one on the background. This means that, after the shot’s been taken, you can choose a defocussed or sharply focussed background (mostly for aesthetic reasons). But probably the camera’s best new feature is its super-fast autofocus, which Samsung claims is the fastest on any smartphone at up to 0.3 seconds.
Round the front, there's a 2.1MP front camera for video chatting and selfies.

HTC reportedly working on a new One with bigger screen, better camera
HTC reportedly working on a new One with bigger screen
HTC is reportedly working on a new version of its flagship smartphone that could debut as early as March. The phone will retain the same overall design but will include a larger screen and improved internal hardware according to a source familiar with the project as reported by Bloomberg.
We’re hearing that the new One will include a twin-sensor rear camera designed to improve focus and image quality. Although unconfirmed, it’s worth pointing out that Toshiba recently announced a two-sensor camera module for smartphones that allows users to refocus images after the fact. It’s said to be similar in function to Lytro’s light field camera.
Elsewhere, the screen size will be at least five inches which is a bit larger than the 4.7-inch display on the current phone but a great deal smaller than the HTC One Max at 5.9 inches. Previous rumors have suggested the phone will include a Snapdragon 805 processor.
The publication points out that HTC will continue to use the same One moniker, much like Apple has done with the iPad over the years. That makes sense as the One has a solid reputation and there’s no reason not to leverage the brand moving forward.
The timing of the launch also makes sense as the first generation unit dropped just ahead of Mobile World Congress last February. We’ll keep our eyes peeled over the coming months for the new One announcement as well as any other major handsets from other manufacturers.
